What is The Collective?
An urban basecamp for mind, body, and community in South Lake Union. Members use it to work, meet, eat, climb, host, and recharge. High Tide (our day-to-night restaurant & bar), Alpenglow (member lounge + workspace), a tech-free Hammock Garden, boutique bouldering, showers/lockers, event spaces, and rotating local art make it easy to settle in—and then launch into whatever’s next.
Where is The Collective?
400 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109

How do I get there?
We’re less than a mile from I-5 at Harrison & Dexter. The 62 bus stops out front; covered bike parking is available. Garage parking is $4/hr; we do not validate.
Why “basecamp” (and not “clubhouse”)?
Because this is a launchpad. Circle up, refuel, and head back out—whether that’s meetings, training on the wall, a concert, or making something new with people you just met.
What’s inside?
- High Tide: all-day workspace that shifts into full-service dining, a stage for live sets, ping-pong, board games, and plenty of ways to collide with other humans.
- Alpenglow: member lounge + focus nooks, Studio, Campfire Circle, the tech-free Hammock Garden, boutique Bouldering area, showers, and day-use lockers.
- Crest Coffee Bar: excellent coffee and grab-and-go (street-facing).
- Dynamic event spaces: from intimate salons to big community nights.
- Art & design: local artists and place-specific installations throughout.
Programs & Community
We run a robust calendar—talks, live music, tastings, workshops, out-and-about adventures, fitness pop-ups, and member-led gatherings. Some are free, some are ticketed; all are designed to be worth your time.
How much do programs cost?
From free to ticketed. When we bring in specialized instructors, chefs, or supplies, there may be a fee. Member events strive for high value and strong community outcomes.
